Tetrastigma is a liana from the Vitaceae family distinguished by the presence of tendrils that grow opposite the leaves. Rafflesia, a holoparasitic plant, can only be found in Tetrastigma. This study aims to investigate and analyze the phylogenetic relationship of Tetrastigma spp. using the atp B-rbcL, rbcL, and ITS sequences. The results revealed that the three trees were divided into two main clades: an ingroup clade of 12 Tetrastigma species and an outgroup clade with a high bootstrap value. Compared to the atpB-rbcL sequences, the rbcL and ITS trees produce trees with a wide range of bootstrap values among species. It is recommended that rbcL, ITS, or a combination of these sequences be used in species identification.
